Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 tube 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza dough Use refrigerated dough for convenience.
  • 10-12 sticks mozzarella string cheese The secret to the perfect cheese pull.
  • 24 slices pepperoni Classic flavor in every bite.
  • 2 tbsp melted butter Mixed with 1/2 tsp garlic powder for flavor.
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese Adds a salty, nutty depth.
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Essential for dipping.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
  3. Place 2-3 pepperoni slices on each rectangle, then lay a mozzarella string cheese stick on top.
  4. Carefully roll the dough around the filling, pinching the seams tightly closed on all sides.
Baking
  1. Arrange the wrapped sticks seam-side down on your prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Brush each stick generously with the garlic butter mixture and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese immediately after baking.
Serving
  1. Arrange the pizza sticks on a platter and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Seal the seams tightly to keep cheese from leaking. Don’t overbake, as it can make the dough tough. You can customize the filling with different ingredients or seasoning.
