  • 1 box white cake mix Follow package instructions for preparation.
  • as directed Eggs Refer to the cake mix box.
  • as directed cup Oil Refer to the cake mix box.
  • as directed cup Water Refer to the cake mix box.
For the gelatin
  • 1 box red gelatin Prepare according to package instructions.
  • 1 box blue gelatin Prepare according to package instructions.
For decoration
  • Whipped cream for topping Optional.
  • Fresh strawberries and blueberries For decoration, optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
  2. Prepare the white cake mix as directed, adding the necessary eggs, oil, and water.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, poke holes all over the cake with a fork.
  6. Prepare the red and blue gelatin according to package instructions.
  7. Pour the red gelatin over half of the holes and the blue gelatin over the other half of the holes.
  8. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to set the gelatin.
Serving
  1. Top with whipped cream and decorate with fresh strawberries and blueberries if desired.
  2. Cut into squares and serve, enjoying your festive dessert!

Notes

For easier cutting, let the cake cool completely and set the gelatin well before serving. Use a large fork or a skewer to poke holes in the cake for better gelatin absorption. You can make this cake a day in advance to save time on the day of your event.
