Ingredients
  

Pasta and Base
  • 1 pound pasta Use your preferred type of pasta, such as rotini or penne.
Dressing
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise Add more for a creamier salad.
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing Feel free to substitute with ranch or Caesar dressing.
  • Salt To taste.
  • Pepper To taste.
Meat
  • Favorite meats (e.g., chicken, salami, pepperoni) Customize with your choice of meats.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook a pound of pasta according to package instructions; let it cool.
  2. Prepare the dressing by mixing 3/4 cup mayonnaise with 1/2 cup Italian dressing; add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta and your choice of favorite meats.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta and meats, and mix until well combined.
Serving
  1. Serve this Pasta Salad cold. It tastes best when chilled for at least an hour before serving.
  2. Garnish with fresh herbs or extra sliced meats on top for extra flair.

Notes

If there are leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator; it will stay fresh for 3 to 5 days. Stir before serving as the dressing may thicken over time.
