Preparation
- Cook a pound of pasta according to package instructions; let it cool.
- Prepare the dressing by mixing 3/4 cup mayonnaise with 1/2 cup Italian dressing; add salt and pepper to taste.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta and your choice of favorite meats.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta and meats, and mix until well combined.
Serving
- Serve this Pasta Salad cold. It tastes best when chilled for at least an hour before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs or extra sliced meats on top for extra flair.
Notes
If there are leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator; it will stay fresh for 3 to 5 days. Stir before serving as the dressing may thicken over time.
