For the Lasagna
  • 12 pieces cooked lasagna noodles

Cheese Layers
  • cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the Meat Sauce
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, stirring until softened and fragrant. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes to deepen the flavors.
Mix the Ricotta Layer
  1. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, grated Parmesan, and half of the chopped parsley.
  2. Mix until creamy and smooth.
Assemble the Lasagna
  1. Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  2. Add a layer of lasagna noodles.
  3. Spread an even layer of the ricotta mixture.
  4. Add more meat sauce, then sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  5. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
Add the Bacon & Bake
  1. Sprinkle the crumbled turkey bacon over the top.
  2. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden, bubbly, and slightly crisp at the edges.
Rest & Serve
  1. Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before slicing to allow the layers to set beautifully.
  2. Garnish with the remaining parsley before serving.
