Oreo No-Bake Dessert

Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 24 cookies 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 5 tablespoons 5 tablespoons melted butter
Filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup 1 cup whipped topping
  • Additional cookies Additional Oreo cookies for topping Use crushed for topping before serving.

Method
 

Preparation of Crust
  1. In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish to form the bottom layer.
Preparation of Filling
  1. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping gently.
Assembly
  1. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust.
  2. Top with additional crushed Oreo cookies.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve chilled and cut into squares. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Drizzle chocolate sauce for extra touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days or freeze for 2 months.
