Method
 

Cooking the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
Adding Liquids and Pasta
  1. Pour in the marinara sauce, chicken broth, and heavy cream.
  2. Stir to combine, then add the elbow macaroni.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
Simmering
  1. Cook uncovered for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened slightly.
Adding Cheese and Seasonings
  1. Reduce the heat to low.
  2. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy.
  3. Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix well until the sauce coats the pasta evenly.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan or fresh basil if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch and that true chicken Parmesan feel, sprinkle some buttery breadcrumbs on top before serving. Want it spicy? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a kick!
