Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Season generously before cooking.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For cooking the chicken.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the creamy base.
For the Sauce and Noodles
  • 2 cups chicken broth Forms the base of the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Creates a rich sauce.
  • 8 oz egg noodles Cook until tender.
  • 3 tbsp butter Provides creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Enhances flavor.
  • to taste Salt & pepper For seasoning.
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Once the oil is hot, place the chicken in the skillet and cook each side for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
Prepare the Creamy Base
  1. In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  3. Allow the mixture to reach a gentle simmer.
Cook the Noodles
  1. Stir in the egg noodles, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid.
  2. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the noodles cook for 8-10 minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally.
Combine Everything
  1. Once the noodles are perfectly cooked, reduce the heat to low.
  2. Add butter and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  3. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet and let them heat through for a couple of minutes.
Serve and Garnish
  1. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for freshness.
  2. Serve warm, spooning plenty of the creamy sauce over the chicken and noodles.

Notes

Tips: Add vegetables like peas or spinach for nutritional boost. For a cheesy upgrade, stir in shredded mozzarella.
