Ingredients
  

For the Clusters
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks Use unsalted pretzels for balanced flavor.
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce Use warm caramel for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Can substitute with dark or white chocolate.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil Optional, for smoother chocolate.
  • to taste pinch sea salt, for sprinkling Enhances flavors.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pretzel sticks and chopped pecans. Gently stir to combine.
  3. Pour the caramel sauce over the pretzel and pecan mixture and fold gently to coat.
  4. Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to portion the mixture onto the baking sheet, shaping clusters.
Chocolate Coating
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
  2. Drizzle the melted chocolate over each pretzel pecan cluster.
  3. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each cluster.
Setting
  1. Refrigerate the baking sheet for 30 minutes to 1 hour until the chocolate is set.
  2. Gently lift each cluster off the parchment paper and store in an airtight container.

Notes

These clusters can be made in advance and stored. For a festive twist, try adding crushed candies or sprinkles.
