Preparation
- Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. Microwave until melted.
- Add peppermint extract and a pinch of salt to the melted chocolate.
- In a large bowl, mix together the miniature marshmallows and chopped pecans. Pour the melted chocolate over the mixture.
- Gently fold the mixture until everything is well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top of each cluster.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.
Serving
- Serve straight from the refrigerator and arrange on a nice plate or in a dessert bowl.
Storage
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain texture and flavor. They should stay good for about a week.
Notes
For variations, consider adding crushed candies, sprinkles, or changing up the chocolate type to dark chocolate. Melting chocolate slowly can prevent burning.
