Ingredients
  

For the Clusters
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1.5 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped pecans You can substitute with any nut of your choice.
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract For extra mint flavor, add more as desired.
  • 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips for garnish
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. Microwave until melted.
  3. Add peppermint extract and a pinch of salt to the melted chocolate.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together the miniature marshmallows and chopped pecans. Pour the melted chocolate over the mixture.
  5. Gently fold the mixture until everything is well combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top of each cluster.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.
Serving
  1. Serve straight from the refrigerator and arrange on a nice plate or in a dessert bowl.
Storage
  1. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain texture and flavor. They should stay good for about a week.

Notes

For variations, consider adding crushed candies, sprinkles, or changing up the chocolate type to dark chocolate. Melting chocolate slowly can prevent burning.
