  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped Chopped finely for better blending.
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 large egg Bind the ingredients.
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped mushrooms, shredded Swiss cheese, egg, onion, garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve hot with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Top with extra Swiss cheese or gravy for added flavor. For storage, let cool completely before wrapping or placing in an airtight container.
