Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the French bread or sub rolls in half lengthwise.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic. Spread this mixture on the cut sides of the bread.
Assembly
- Place cooked meatballs on top of the bread.
- Spoon marinara sauce over the meatballs and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Baking
- Place the bread boats on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve hot.
