Smoothie Ingredients
  • 2 fresh mangoes or 2 cups of frozen mango Choose ripe mangoes for a sweeter taste.
  • 1 small frozen banana (or half of a large banana) Use frozen banana to make the smoothie extra creamy.
  • 1/2 cup milk, dairy or dairy-free Adjust the thickness by adding more milk if you want it thinner.
  • 1/2 cup yogurt, dairy or dairy-free You can replace yogurt with nut butter for a different flavor.

Preparation
  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend until creamy.
Serving
  1. Pour the mango smoothie into a tall glass. Add a slice of fresh mango on the rim for decoration.
  2. Serve it chilled and enjoy right away for the best flavor.
Storage
  1. If you have leftover smoothie, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir well before drinking, as some separation may occur.

Notes

For a tropical twist, add a handful of spinach or a tablespoon of coconut flakes to the blender. This smoothie is nutritious and usually a hit with kids because of its sweet taste. It can be made vegan by using dairy-free milk and yogurt.
