  • 4 cups Shredded cabbage Substitutes traditional pasta
  • 1 lb Ground turkey Can substitute with chicken or omit for vegetarian
  • 8 oz Andouille sausage Adds a spicy flavor
  • 1 cup Bell peppers Chopped
  • 1 cup Onions Chopped
  • 2 tbsp Cajun spice blend Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce For added moisture and flavor
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and bell peppers, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the ground turkey and andouille sausage, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage and Cajun spice blend, and cook until the cabbage is tender.
  5. Pour in the tomato sauce, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your low-carb spaghetti!

Notes

Serve in bowls with fresh parsley or green onions. Pairs well with a side salad or grilled vegetables. For additional crunch, consider adding sliced snap peas or zucchini when cooking.
