  • 12 ounces pasta (penne, rotini, or shells recommended)
Main ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef Can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option.
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled Leftover bacon from breakfast works well.
  • 2 cups heavy cream Can use vegetable broth for a lighter sauce.
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese Additional grated cheese can be added on top when serving.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder Diced onions or bell peppers can be added for extra flavor.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Add the cooked bacon, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and both cheeses to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  3. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix until well coated.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 to 4 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave until heated through. For spiciness, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeƱos.
