Smoothie Ingredients
  • 1 medium banana, peeled and frozen Use frozen for creaminess.
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach Can be omitted or substituted.
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes Adjust for thickness.
  • 1/2 cup cubed fresh pineapple Fresh or frozen can be used.
  • 1/2 cup chopped peeled mango or frozen mango chunks Can swap with other fruits.
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt For a dairy-free version, use almond or coconut yogurt.
  • 1/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 3 tablespoons honey Adjust based on desired sweetness.
  • 2 teaspoons grated lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon spreadable cream cheese (optional)
Toppings (Optional)
  • Lime wedges For extra citrus flavor.
  • Sliced banana
  • Sliced almonds
  • Granola
  • Dark chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the first 11 ingredients in a blender. If desired, add cream cheese.
  2. Cover and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into chilled bowls.
  4. Serve immediately, with toppings as desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. The smoothie may separate, so stir before eating. For longer storage, freeze in individual servings and blend again before serving. Use frozen bananas for creaminess. Experiment with different toppings for added texture and flavor.
