  • 1 small bunch kale or spinach, chopped Use fresh kale for a nutritious blend.
  • 1 medium pear, chopped Choose a ripe pear for better sweetness.
  • 1 cup frozen sweetened mixed berries
  • 1 medium banana, halved
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup low-fat vanilla almond milk yogurt Add more yogurt for a thicker texture.
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar Adjust sweetness to taste.

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix the chopped kale and the fruits.
  2. Pour in the almond milk, yogurt, and agave nectar. Stir to combine.
  3. Process the mixture in batches in a blender until smooth.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later.

Notes

Serve in a tall glass, garnished with a slice of fruit or a sprinkle of granola. Consume fresh for the best taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
