For the chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
For the filling
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
For cooking
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice a pocket into the side of each chicken breast without cutting all the way through.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the crumbled bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, and cream cheese.
  4. Spoon the bacon-cheese mixture evenly into each chicken breast and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Season the chicken on all sides with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden.
  2. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, remove toothpicks, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
