  • 1 lb ground beef Use 80/20 ground beef for a balance of tenderness and flavor.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 pieces burger buns Toast on the grill if desired.
Toppings
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings Add your favorite condiments like ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise.

Preparation
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
Cooking
  1. Grill patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  2. Toast burger buns on the grill if desired.
Serving
  1. Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings.
  2. Serve hot off the grill with a side of crispy fries or a fresh salad.

Notes

Don't over-mix the meat to avoid tough burgers. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty for even cooking.
