  • 1 large egg, beaten For egg wash to achieve a golden crust.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  2. Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  3. Layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and bell peppers over the sauce.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning if using.
  5. Roll the dough tightly, starting from one long edge, and pinch the ends to seal.
Baking
  1. Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Brush the top with the beaten egg and make a few slits on the top for steam to escape.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving with extra marinara sauce.

Notes

Use your favorite toppings to customize your Stromboli. Roll the dough tightly to prevent filling leaks. For a crispy crust, brush with olive oil before baking.
