  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs or breasts Boneless is preferable
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Use fresh for the best flavor
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For sautéing
  • 8 ounces Bowtie pasta Can substitute with other pasta shapes
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Plus extra for serving
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili flakes (optional) For heat

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Cooking
  1. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides.
  2. Pour in honey and soy sauce, stirring to coat the chicken. Cook until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze thickens.
  3. In a separate pot, heat heavy cream and stir in grated Parmesan until smooth.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy Parmesan sauce.
  5. Serve the honey garlic chicken over the creamy pasta, garnished with extra Parmesan and chili flakes if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the dish cool completely, then place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove over low heat until heated through.
