- Divide the risen dough into about 12 portions.
- Roll each portion into long strands and twist or braid them.
Frying
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan until frying temperature.
- Carefully fry twisted dough pieces until golden on all sides.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- While warm, roll donuts in granulated sugar for coating.
Serving
- Serve warm with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

Allow dough to rise fully for light texture. Maintain consistent oil temperature for even cooking. Roll in sugar immediately after frying for best results.
