Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a springform pan.
- In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and sugar.
- Melt the butter and mix it into the flour mixture until crumbly. Press this mixture into the bottom of the springform pan to form a crust.
Cheesecake Filling
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Slice the strawberries and layer them on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set. Let it cool completely.
Serving
- Top with whipped cream and additional strawberries before serving.
Notes
Make sure all ingredients, especially the cream cheese, are at room temperature for better mixing. Don’t rush the cooling process; letting it cool completely helps achieve the perfect texture. Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor and presentation.
