Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 170°F (75°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry jam and applesauce until well blended.
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer about 1/8 inch thick.
Drying
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and let it dry for 6-8 hours or until the mixture is no longer sticky and feels like fruit leather.
Cooling and Storing
- Once dried, remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
- Cut the fruit roll-up into strips and roll them up to store.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or refrigerate/freeze for longer storage. Make sure to wrap them tightly to prevent freezer burn. Consider experimenting with different fruit flavors and spices for variation.
