Homemade Strawberry Fruit Roll-Ups

  • 1 cup strawberry jam Choose a thicker jam for more intensity.
  • 1 cup applesauce Can be substituted with other purees.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 170°F (75°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry jam and applesauce until well blended.
  3. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer about 1/8 inch thick.
Drying
  1. Place the baking sheet in the oven and let it dry for 6-8 hours or until the mixture is no longer sticky and feels like fruit leather.
Cooling and Storing
  1. Once dried, remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  2. Cut the fruit roll-up into strips and roll them up to store.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or refrigerate/freeze for longer storage. Make sure to wrap them tightly to prevent freezer burn. Consider experimenting with different fruit flavors and spices for variation.
