  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine cucumbers, vinegar, water, horseradish, sugar, salt, peppercorns, mustard seeds, and garlic. Stir well to combine.
  2. Transfer the mixture to sterilized jars, leaving some space at the top.
  3. Seal the jars and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to develop.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator in tightly sealed jars. They will last for about a month if kept cold. The flavors will continue to develop, making them tastier over time. You can add spices like red pepper flakes or dill for variations.
