- Blend the eggs and maple syrup in a high-powered blender for 4 minutes on high speed.
- Add the milk, heavy cream, brandy, rum, and nutmeg to the blender. Blend for an additional 10 seconds to mix everything well.
- Pour the eggnog into an airtight container and refrigerate until it is chilled.
- When ready to serve, stir the eggnog, then pour into cups. Garnish with cinnamon sticks or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Notes
Homemade eggnog is best served chilled and can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2 to 3 days. Always stir before serving, as ingredients may separate over time. You can make it ahead of time, up to a couple of days in advance.
