  • 2 cups cooked pasta Use any pasta you prefer, such as penne, rotini, or shells.
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce You may switch with alfredo sauce for a creamy twist.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
Garnish
  • 1 sprig Fresh basil For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased casserole dish.
Baking
  1. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  3. Let it cool slightly before serving, and garnish with fresh basil.
