Ingredients
  

For the mocktail
  • 3 oz chilled hibiscus tea Brew and chill the hibiscus tea before preparing.
  • 1 teaspoon powdered monk fruit sweetener Adjust according to sweetness preference.
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz tequila alternative like Ritual For a non-alcoholic version.
  • Optional: agave for extra sweetness Add if desired.
  • Optional garnishes: salt and hibiscus rim, lime wheels, edible flowers

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew the hibiscus tea according to packet instructions, then strain it. While the tea is still hot, add powdered monk fruit sweetener to taste and stir to dissolve. Set it aside to cool.
Mixing
  1. In a shaker, combine the chilled tea, lime juice, orange juice, and the non-alcoholic tequila alternative with ice.
  2. Shake the mixture well until it is chilled.
Serving
  1. Strain the mixture over ice into a tumbler. Garnish with lime, hibiscus leaves, or edible flowers as desired.
Batch Preparation
  1. For batching this drink, simply prepare and chill the tea, mix all the ingredients in a pitcher, and serve it over ice with garnishes.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh and chilled. Store any leftover mocktail in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within one day for optimal flavor.
