Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Chicken breast, skinless Use skinless for a leaner option.
  • 1 cup Seasoned flour You can experiment with different spices.
  • 1 piece Beaten egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Double-coat the chicken for extra crunch.
  • as needed sprays Oil spray Spray on coated chicken for crispiness.

Method
 

Preparation and Coating
  1. Flatten the chicken breast to about half an inch thick.
  2. Roll the chicken in seasoned flour.
  3. Dip the chicken in beaten egg.
  4. Roll the chicken in breadcrumbs.
  5. For a crunchier coating, repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps.
  6. Spray the coated chicken with a little oil.
Cooking
  1. Cook in the air fryer at 200°C (390°F) for 14 minutes, turning halfway through.

Notes

Serve hot with a fresh salad, steamed vegetables, or whole grain sides. A slice of lemon or your favorite dipping sauce adds extra flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
