  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Use honey for non-vegan option, maple syrup for vegan.
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 pieces eggs For vegan option, can substitute with flax eggs or applesauce.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add-ons
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional) For added richness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until well mixed. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow to cool before slicing into squares and serving.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
