  • 1 cup Sour cream Adds creaminess to the dish.
  • 1 bunch Green onions, chopped Garnish with extra as desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the frozen hash brown patties in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chopped green onions.
  4. Pour the mixture over the hash brown patties and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in cooked bacon or sausage. You can also add vegetables such as bell peppers or mushrooms for a healthier version. If you want a little crunch, sprinkle some crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs on top before baking. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for later use.
