Preparation
- Roll out the dough on a clean surface.
- If desired, spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the dough.
- Add slices of deli ham and Swiss or cheddar cheese on top of the cream cheese.
- Roll the dough up tightly from one end to the other.
- Slice the rolled dough into pinwheels about 1 inch thick.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.
Baking
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15–18 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
These pinwheels are best served warm and can be dipped in marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or spicy mustard. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Freezing before baking is also an option.
