Ham & Cheese Garlic Butter Pinwheels

Delicious and easy-to-make pinwheels filled with ham, cheese, and garlic butter, perfect for snacks or meals.

Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling
  • 1 package Pizza dough or crescent dough Use thawed frozen dough if needed.
  • 8 slices Deli ham
  • 8 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz Cream cheese (optional) Spread over the dough for added creaminess.
Toppings and Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Melted butter For brushing the tops before baking.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Mix with melted butter for brushing.
  • 2 tbsp Parsley Fresh, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Roll out the dough on a clean surface.
  2. If desired, spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the dough.
  3. Add slices of deli ham and Swiss or cheddar cheese on top of the cream cheese.
  4. Roll the dough up tightly from one end to the other.
  5. Slice the rolled dough into pinwheels about 1 inch thick.
  6. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.
Baking
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15–18 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  2. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

These pinwheels are best served warm and can be dipped in marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or spicy mustard. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Freezing before baking is also an option.
