  • 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 2 cups cooked ham, diced Use leftover ham for added flavor.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional Topping
  • ½ cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs For a crispy topping.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, diced ham, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, chopped onion, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is fully coated.
Baking
  1. Spread the mixture evenly into your prepared baking dish.
  2. Optional: Sprinkle crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs on top.
  3. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy the creamy, cheesy goodness.
