  • 2 cups Watermelon, chopped Use fresh, ripe watermelon.
  • 1 cup Grapes, halved Choose seedless grapes for ease.
  • 2 medium Apples, chopped Any variety of apples can be used.
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled Optional for a savory touch.
  • 1/4 cup Pecans, chopped Or substitute with nuts of choice.
Dressing and Additions
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt or dressing Use fruit-based dressing for sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop watermelon and apples into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the watermelon, chopped apples, grapes, and pecans.
  3. For the Snickers apple salad variation, add diced Snickers bars to the apple mixture.
  4. Add dressing or yogurt to the fruit mixture and toss gently.
  5. Portion into small to-go containers.
  6. Chill before serving to keep fresh.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days; keep dressing separate until serving. Use ripe and fresh fruits for best flavor.
