Preparation
- Cut several pieces of wire into equal lengths. Generally, 10-12 pieces work well.
- Bend each wire piece into a petal shape, making them pointed or rounded at the ends.
- Cut the transparent mesh fabric into petal shapes that match your wire. Make sure the fabric is larger than the wire to fully cover it.
- Use the hot glue gun to attach the mesh fabric to the wire, ensuring it holds well at the base.
- While the glue is still warm, sprinkle glitter over the mesh fabric, ensuring it sticks well.
- Repeat the process to make several layers of petals, starting with a smaller layer at the center and gradually making the outer layers larger.
- Once all petals are ready, stack them from smallest to largest, using hot glue to secure each layer together.
- Attach a string or fishing line through the center to hang your ornament, and glue beads or decorative buttons to the center for added flair.
- Allow the glue to dry completely before hanging your ornament.
Notes
Display in a suitable spot like a window or door to let the light enhance its appearance. Keep it in a cool and dry place to store it safely, wrapped in soft cloth to prevent damage.
