Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts.
- Lay out the phyllo dough or strudel dough on a clean surface and brush with melted butter. Layer several sheets for sturdiness.
- Place the apple mixture along one edge of the dough and carefully roll it up, sealing the edges.
Baking
- Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the top with more melted butter.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
- Slice and serve warm.
