Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onion, bell pepper, and garlic until fully browned and flavorful. Season with salt and pepper.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and remove some of the inside to create space for the filling.
- Fill the bread with the beef mixture and top generously with shredded cheese.
- Wrap in foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the top is slightly crispy.
Notes
Don’t overfill to keep the bread intact. Serve immediately for best cheesiness. Add mushrooms for extra flavor.
