Ingredients
  

For the steaks
  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks Choose quality steaks for best flavor.
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter Use store-bought or homemade.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season steaks generously.
For the cheesy rice
  • 1 cup long-grain rice Rinse before cooking for better texture.
  • 2 cups chicken broth Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley for garnish Use fresh parsley for better flavor.

Method
 

Cooking the Steaks
  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of garlic butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
Making the Cheesy Rice
  1. In the same skillet, add the rice and toast it for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted.
Serving
  1. Serve the cheesy rice with the garlic butter steaks on top and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Let the steaks come to room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer for accurate doneness, aiming for 130°F for medium-rare. Add vegetables like peas or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
