  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with milk or dairy-free alternative
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking the Rice
  1. In a saucepan, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil.
  2. Add the rice and cook according to the package instructions.
Preparing the Shrimp
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
Finishing the Dish
  1. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing until well combined.
  2. Serve the garlic butter shrimp over the creamy rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
