Garlic Butter Salmon

Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1 large salmon fillet Fresh is best for optimal flavor.
  • 40 g butter Unsalted butter recommended.
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced) Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 1 tbsp parsley Fresh, chopped parsley for garnish.
  • Salt & black pepper To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the salmon fillet with salt and black pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Gently add the seasoned salmon fillet to the pan.
  4. Cook for about 4–5 minutes on each side, spooning the melted butter over the salmon as it cooks.
  5. Once cooked, remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Baking Option
  1. Alternatively, bake the salmon in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 10–12 minutes.
Air Fryer Option
  1. Use an air fryer at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes.

Notes

Serve hot with steamed vegetables or rice. A squeeze of lemon juice enhances flavors. Store leftovers properly.
