Preparation
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the sliced sausage and onion until golden and slightly crispy.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for another minute.
- Add the yellow baby potatoes to the crockpot.
- Pour the sausage mixture over the potatoes.
- Season everything with garlic and herb seasoning, then place the garlic herb butter on top.
Cooking
- Cover the crockpot and cook on HIGH for about 3 hours.
- After 3 hours, add the fresh green beans and a bit more butter.
- Cook for another hour until everything is tender.
Notes
Sautéing adds extra flavor but can be skipped. Use fresh green beans for the best texture. You can add extra butter for a richer taste. Stir gently before serving. Consider adding carrots or bell peppers for extra vegetables, or try different sausage types for unique flavors.
