  • optional Glitter For added sparkle

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cleaning the surface of the suncatcher with soap and water to remove any dust or grease. Let it dry completely.
  2. Use a pencil to lightly sketch your dragonfly or lotus design on the suncatcher.
Painting
  1. Paint your design with acrylic paints, using lighter colors for the base and darker for the details.
  2. If desired, sprinkle some glitter over the wet paint to add sparkle. Let the paint dry completely.
  3. Once dry, apply a thin layer of clear glue or Mod Podge over the top to seal the paint and add a glossy finish.
  4. Allow the suncatcher to dry fully.
Finishing Touches
  1. Attach a string or ribbon to the top so you can hang your beautiful creation.

Notes

Store the suncatcher in a soft cloth bag or padded box when not displayed to avoid scratches. Use multiple layers of paint for vibrancy and allow proper drying time.
