- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for crushed Doritos.
Breading and Frying
- Take a mozzarella string cheese stick, dip it in flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the crushed Doritos.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the cheese sticks until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
Serving
- Arrange the Fried Cheese-Stuffed Doritos Sticks on a platter with a small bowl of marinara sauce in the center for dipping.
Notes
These sticks are best enjoyed hot and fresh from the fryer. For added flavor, sprinkle some extra Dorito crumbs on top. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results. Avoid microwaving as it may make them soggy. You can customize the recipe by using different flavors of Doritos or cheeses.
