Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Butter Fish and Mashed Potatoes
  • 400 g 2 fish fillets Choose fresh fish fillets for the best taste.
  • 40 g butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 500 g potatoes Potatoes for mashing.
  • 50 ml milk
  • Salt & black pepper Adjust according to preference.
For the Crispy Fried Fish and Fries
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 ea egg Beaten for coating.
  • 150 g breadcrumbs or panko For coating the fish.
  • 500 g potatoes (for fries)
  • Oil to taste for frying Check oil temperature before frying.
For Lemon Fish and Rice
  • 200 g rice Long grain or your choice.
  • 400 ml water For cooking rice.
  • Salt (for rice) Adjust according to preference.
  • Juice of 1 lemon
For Spicy Fish and Roasted Vegetables
  • 2 tbsp oil (for roasted vegetables) Adjust for taste.
  • 300 g mixed vegetables (carrot, broccoli, zucchini) You can choose your preferred vegetables.
  • 2 tbsp oil (for cooking fish)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder Adjust to spice preference.

Method
 

Garlic Butter Fish + Mashed Potatoes
  1. Boil potatoes until tender. Mash them with milk, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a pan, melt butter and add minced garlic.
  3. Cook the fish fillets for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden.
  4. Serve the fish with a side of mashed potatoes.
Crispy Fried Fish + Fries
  1. Cut potatoes into fries and fry them until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, coat the fish fillets first in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
  3. Fry the coated fish until crispy and golden.
  4. Serve crunchy fish with fries.
Lemon Fish + Rice
  1. Cook rice in water with a pinch of salt.
  2. Squeeze lemon juice over the fish and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the fish in a pan for 3–4 minutes on each side.
  4. Serve the fish with fluffy rice.
Spicy Fish + Roasted Vegetables
  1. Toss mixed vegetables with oil and salt. Roast them at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes.
  2. Season the fish with paprika, chili powder, salt, and a bit of oil.
  3. Cook the fish in a pan for 3–4 minutes per side.
  4. Serve spicy fish with roasted vegetables.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave. Use fresh fish for best results and adjust seasonings to taste. If using frozen fish, ensure it is fully thawed before cooking.
