Ingredients
  

Empanada Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed Use cold butter to keep the dough flaky.
  • 1 count egg
  • 1/2 cup cold water
Focaccia Dough
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 3/4 cups warm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil Use high-quality olive oil for better flavor.
Soft Pretzel Dough
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Pita Bread Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Croissant Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 250 grams cold unsalted butter

Method
 

Empanada Dough Preparation
  1. Mix flour and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  3. Add the egg and cold water, mixing until the dough forms.
  4. Knead gently, then wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough, fill with your favorite ingredients, fold, and bake or fry as desired.
Focaccia Dough Preparation
  1. Combine flour, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover and let rise until it doubles in size.
  4. Spread the dough into an oiled pan, dimple it with your fingers, add oil and toppings, if desired.
  5. Bake until golden.
Soft Pretzel Dough Preparation
  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and melted butter, knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise until it doubles in size.
  4. Shape into pretzels and boil them in a baking soda bath.
  5. Bake until deep golden brown.
Pita Bread Dough Preparation
  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, kneading until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise until doubled.
  4. Divide into rounds and roll flat.
  5. Bake in a hot oven until puffed.
Croissant Dough Preparation
  1. Mix flour, milk, yeast, sugar, salt, and butter into a dough.
  2. Knead lightly and chill.
  3. Flatten the cold butter into a square.
  4. Roll the dough out, wrap around the butter, and fold several times.
  5. Shape into croissants, let rise, and bake until flaky and golden.
