  • 2 pieces frozen bananas (sliced in half before freezing) Use ripe bananas for better sweetness.
  • 1 cup milk Any type of milk can be used, including plant-based.
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla) Choose plain for less sweetness or vanilla for additional flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter, peanut butter, flaxseed, or chia seeds Optional for added nutrition and flavor.
  • 1 splash vanilla extract Optional, use if using plain Greek yogurt.

Preparation
  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately in a glass. Optionally garnish with chia seeds or nut butter.

Notes

Best consumed right after making. If stored, keep in a sealed container for up to 24 hours. Shake well before drinking.
