  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts Use frozen if desired; just adjust cooking time.
  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce Feel free to use any preferred BBQ sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar Adjust based on desired sweetness.

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker in an even layer.
  2. In a bowl, mix the Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce with the brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, making sure it’s well coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours or on LOW for 6–7 hours, until the chicken is very tender.
  2. Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and stir it back into the sauce to soak up all that flavor.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken on buns for sandwiches or over rice.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. For added flavor, you can use different BBQ sauces or add vegetables to the slow cooker.
