Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker in an even layer.
- In a bowl, mix the Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce with the brown sugar until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken, making sure it’s well coated.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours or on LOW for 6–7 hours, until the chicken is very tender.
- Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and stir it back into the sauce to soak up all that flavor.
Serving
- Serve the chicken on buns for sandwiches or over rice.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. For added flavor, you can use different BBQ sauces or add vegetables to the slow cooker.
