For the Jellyfish Top
  • 1 piece Half foam balls or wooden domes or resin domes Select based on material preference.
  • 1 set Acrylic paint Choose pastel ombré colors.
  • 1 set Glitter For added shimmer.
  • 8 pieces Eye screws/hooks For attaching bead strands.
For the Tentacles
  • 1 cup Seed beads
  • 1 cup Faceted crystals
  • 1 cup Pearls
  • 1 cup Gemstone chips
  • 1 cup Charms
  • 1 cup Teardrop crystals
For Hanging
  • 1 set Jump rings
  • 1 length Jewelry chain For hanging the mobile.
  • 1 length Fishing line or beading wire To attach prism drops.
  • 1 set Prism crystal drops For catching sunlight.

Method
 

Creating the Jellyfish Top
  1. Paint the half wooden ball or plastic ornament half in pastel ombré colors such as blush pink, lavender, peach, or pearl white.
  2. Add glitter for shimmer.
Adding Hanging Loops
  1. Screw or glue small eye hooks underneath to hold the dangling bead strands.
Making the Tentacles
  1. String together seed beads, faceted crystals, pearls, gemstone chips, charms, and teardrop crystals, mixing lengths for a flowing effect.
Attaching Prism Drops
  1. Attach prism drops like chandelier crystals, faceted glass balls, or teardrop prisms to catch sunlight and create rainbows.
Hanging the Mobile
  1. Hang the mobile using chain, ribbon, or fishing line, placing it on ceiling hooks or curtain rods.

Notes

Choose colors that match your décor for a cohesive look. Use a mix of different bead sizes to create depth and interest. Experiment with different hanging lengths to enhance the jellyfish effect. Consider adding LED lights for extra sparkle, especially at night. Store wrapped in tissue or bubble wrap to avoid damage.
