Preparation
- Heat your oven to 170°C (340°F). Line an 8-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk the eggs and sugar until they turn pale and foamy.
- Add the oil and whisk for about 30 seconds.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda. Fold gently.
- Pour in the milk and vanilla. Mix until the batter is smooth.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Transfer the batter to the loaf pan and tap it once to release bubbles.
- Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top.
Baking
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. If it browns too quickly, place a piece of foil over the top.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
Serve slices plain or with vanilla ice cream. Drizzle with chocolate sauce or sprinkle with powdered sugar for a sweet finish. Pairs well with coffee or tea.
