  • 1-2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 bag Doritos (Nacho Cheese or Cool Ranch)
  • 1 jar queso or nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 1/2 cup creamy taco sauce
Optional Toppings
  • to taste Lettuce for topping
  • to taste Green onions for topping
  • to taste Sour cream for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet and mix it with taco seasoning.
Layering and Cooking
  1. In a slow cooker, layer crushed Doritos, beef mixture, Rotel, queso, and shredded cheese.
  2. Repeat layers as needed.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours until everything is hot and melted.
Serving
  1. Top with fresh lettuce and green onions before serving.

Notes

Add extra Doritos before serving for crunch. Don’t overcook to keep texture. Use fresh toppings for balance. Adjust cheese for richness. You can add jalapeños for spice or use different flavored chips for a twist. Serve with sour cream or salsa for extra flavor.
