Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa Adjust the spiciness based on your preference.
  • 0.5 cup Catalina dressing You can also use French dressing.
  • 1 bag Doritos Crushed just before serving to maintain crunch.
Fresh Vegetables
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar works well.

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and salsa to the ground beef, stirring until combined. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese.
  2. Just before serving, crush the Doritos and mix them in with the salad.
  3. Drizzle with Catalina or French dressing and toss to combine.
Serving
  1. Serve in large bowls or individual plates, adding extra toppings like jalapeƱos, olives, or avocado for more flavor.

Notes

If storing leftovers, keep the Doritos separate until ready to serve. The salad will last about 2-3 days in the fridge.
